Mission Statement
Our mission is to inspire the youth of San Carlos with pride in their ancestral language and to motivate the students to use Apache to communicate in their daily lives. Further, we seek to establish Apache language use in poetically heightened expressive contexts and artistic fronts that reflect our tradition and character. This with the hope that our language remains a living language that is part of a thriving culture and a resilient community.
Vision
Our expectation is that by implementing the Apache Language Curriculum, the students of San Carlos will learn to communicate in Apache so they may carry on the Apache language, traditions, and culture to prevent them from becoming lost. The students within the community will be able to speak, understand, and identify with both the Apache Language and Culture.
